The Bison Museum is probably the finest museum of its kind in the world and it is right here in Arizona. Gary Martinson, the president of Bison Homes developed the it to honor this animal that was once found from Canada all the way to Mexico and from Oregon to the Appalachians. Herds in North America once numbering in the tens of millions were reduced to a few hundred before conservation practices in the late 1800s saved the species from extinction. Listen as we talk about the North Scottsdale Bison Museum honoring this magnificent animal.
More cameras are being installed on the freeways. Doug Nintzel from ADOT says don't worry, these cameras aren't taking pictures of speeders. However, they will help with traffic management on one of the busiest roads in Arizona, the 101.
