The U.S. Marshals Service captured Mary Sue Canion in April 2004.

 

Wanted for:               Probation Violation

Hair:               Gray/Blonde

DOB:               09/22/61

POB:               Cushing, Oklahoma

HGT:       5'03”

                            Tattoo-Left Hand

 

              Canion was convicted in November 1989 of Possession of Stolen Mail and Possession of an Unregistered Destructive Device; and received a Federal sentence of 30 months in prison.   In May 1990, she was convicted in Pima County Superior Court of Fraud and sentenced to nine years.   Canion was released from prison in April 2001 and began three years of probation.

 

              Canion has an extensive criminal history that includes arrests for Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Larceny, Counterfeiting and Fraud.

 

              Last confirmed sighting of Canion was at 19 th Avenue and Cactus in Phoenix on September 21, 2003. Canion has extensive ties in the Phoenix and Tucson areas.   She has many friends/associates in Phoenix and family in the Tucson area.   Canion has been prescribed medications in the past to treat a psychiatric problem.  

 

              Anyone with information regarding Canion should call the U.S. Marshals at (602) 382-8767.   Individuals who provide information can remain anonymous.   A reward is available.
